Statement
My practice is grounded in sculpture and has evolved as a conversation across installation, sound, photography, and craft processes. I examine concepts of visibility and invisibility, delving into things hidden under the surface and the interplay between what is concealed and what is revealed.
I often explore soft materials and repetitive craft processes that are undervalued, disregarded, and framed as female or domestic art. To readdress the impact of injustice borne from invisibility, I process these, allowing them to be revalued, and made visible once again.
My work responds instinctively to specific sites and space that hold it. Through an exploration of a vocabulary of materials, I seek to create a felicitous environment where materials and architecture can be in dialogue and exist symbiotically.
